Hello everyone,

 

I recently gave the Amazon OA and wanted to share my experience.

 

OA Structure:

 

DSA Question (Graph-based)

Difficulty: Medium–Hard

I was able to pass 8/15 test cases

Problem was not a direct LeetCode pattern, required some custom logic/modeling

Spring Boot API Debugging Question

Fix bugs in an existing API codebase

I fixed 5 out of 6 bugs

This round included AI assistance, which helped in understanding the code structure and hints for debugging

Work Style / Leadership Assessment

Standard Amazon behavioral questions (LP-based scenarios)

 

Overall Observations:

 

DSA question was not standard LC, required deeper thinking

Debugging round was very practical, focused on real backend skills

Time management was important, especially for the first question

 

Any idea how Amazon evaluates combined performance across these sections?
